The Conjurer among us connects to the Otherworld and to the spirits of the dead as a part of their magick. They cast the tether that aligns us with the spiritual world in order to gain wisdom and strengthen their kinship with the universe. They may reach out to spirits for blessings or support in their magick as well, or protect us as we undergo change in everyday life.
Our Conjurer spell kit provides you with four distinctly different oils, each of which hold their own magick in the act of conjuring Spirit. The kit includes:
- The Conjurer: Salvia is used to connect to spirits of the dead for wisdom and divinatory purposes. Our oil, with soft blue tendrils, is a nod to Salvia divinorum or "Diviner's Sage," a psycho-active plant used in belief practices to connect to ancient spiritual wisdom. We pair this with wormwood to reach out to the spirits of the dead.
- The Offering: We often provide offerings to spirits or any entities or deities we may have conjured. Here, orange peel and real dried honeycomb (a nod to the ancient offering of honey) infuse the oil with offerings.
- Banishment: Sometimes spirits linger, for better or worse. We offer you St. John's wort and thistle to banish such "sticky" entities.
- Remembrance: In times of honor, like Samhain, or after divinations with spirits we've known, we may burn a remembrance oil. For this, we offer a ritual oil with rosemary and sweetgrass, two plants used in the craft as a nod to those who came before us and those who still aid our own journeys.
